Procedures indicated according to your needs

Explore bariatric and metabolic surgery procedures.

Weight loss surgery does not just treat obesity, but it treats other conditions like diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, arthritis, and acid reflux. In addition, surgery greatly reduces the risk of death from these conditions, as well as from cancer and other diseases.

About Us

Sleeve gastrectomy

The sleeve gastrectomy (SG), often called the "sleeve", is performed by removing approximately 80% of the stomach leaving a remnant the size and shape of a banana. The new stomach holds less food and liquid, reducing the calories that are consumed.

Mini-gastric bypass

The one anastomosis gastric bypass (OAGB) as well as the mini-gastric bypass (MBG) involves the creation of a long, narrow gastric pouch which is then connected to the small intestine bypassing 150 to 200 cm of its upper portion.

Roux-en-Y gastric bypass

The Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB), often called the "gastric bypass", has now been performed for more than 50 years and is considered the "gold standard" of bariatric surgery. In addition, it has an important role as a treatment for diabetes.

Biliopancreatic diversion

It involves creating a tube-shaped stomach pouch, similar to a sleeve gastrectomy, and bypassing most of the small intestine, similar to gastric bypass. This allows to have some of the strongest metabolic effects of all procedures.

SADI-S

The single anastomosis duodenal-ileal bypass with sleeve gastrectomy (SADI-S) is one of the most recent procedures to be endorsed by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). It is highly effective as a revisional procedure.

Revision surgery

Revisional bariatric surgery is a procedure that modifies or reverses a previous weight loss surgery. Some patients require revision surgery owing to the undesirable results or complications of their primary bariatric procedure.
